UNU-GEST contributes to the GGEO 2016
The Global Gender and Environment Outlook (GGEO) was published In May of 2016 at the United Nations Environment Assembly. The GGEO constitutes the first assessment that provides a comprehensive overview about the interplay between gender and the environment.

2016 alumnus Daniel Amponsah submits UNU-GEST final assignment to Ministry of Gender and Social Protection in Ghana
Mr. Amponsah submitted his completed project to Nana Oye Lithur, a human rights lawyer and leading advocate on sexual and gender equality in Ghana, as well as Minister of Gender and Social Protection.

Internship opportunities for spring semester 2017
UNU-GEST is seeking applicants for an internship period during the spring semester of 2017.
The goal of the internship placement is to offer students in related fields of study an opportunity to get acquainted with applied approaches to work towards gender equality.
