New Call Launched

GRÓ GEST is pleased to announce a new Call for Applications for alumni-led hybrid gender equality trainings. This initiative supports GRÓ GEST alumni in delivering locally rooted short courses that combine GRÓ GEST’s online learning content with in-person sessions tailored to community needs.

The hybrid format has already proven successful in recent rollouts. In Pakistan, alum Sarmad Soomar collaborated with the Aga Khan University to deliver a powerful training on men and masculinities, combining four weeks of guided online study with in-person discussions and workshops. In rural Kenya, alumna Fariah Lalaikipiani and her team are currently training 50 grassroots feminist leaders using GEST MOOCs on intersectionality and masculinities.

Building on these successes, the new call offers up to EUR 5,000 in co-funding to support selected alumni and their organisations in delivering similar trainings. The aim is to deepen the reach and impact of GRÓ GEST’s gender equality education through flexible, locally-led formats that reflect the programme’s core values of ownership, participation, and social transformation.
