The GEST diploma curriculum in international gender studies incorporates interdisciplinary topics with the aim to enhance understanding of the political, economic, and social structures needed to promote gender equality and advance women’s empowerment.

Description

The post-graduate diploma programme (30 ECTS) consists of six modules. For each academic year, different educational tracks may be offered. The following are a selection of the modules that have been taught in 2016. For this year, the following models were taught:

  1. Theories, Concepts and Systems of Gender
  2. Dynamics of Gender and the Economy
  3. Climate Change, Environment and Resilience
  4. Gender, Peace and Security
  5. Gender, Health, Violence and Bodily Integrity
  6. Final Assignment
