The GEST diploma curriculum in international gender studies incorporates interdisciplinary topics with the aim to enhance understanding of the political, economic, and social structures needed to promote gender equality and advance women’s empowerment.

Description

The course is divided into seven teaching modules, which vary between academic years. Each module corresponds to five ECTS. This year, the following modules were taught:

  1. International Gender Studies: Theories and Concepts
  2. Gender and Education
  3. Practical Tools for Gender Sensitive Projects
  4. Gender, Peace and Security
  5. Health, Violence and Bodily Integrity
  6. Environment, Climate Change and Resilience
  7. Final Assignment
