A 10-day short course that was targeted to the fisheries officers in the Caribbean, in collaboration with Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism, Marine Research Institute, Iceland, and University of the West Indies.

 

Description

The aim of this regional course was to assist fisheries officers in the Caribbean in analysing their data from their regular data collection programs for the purpose of assessing the status of their commercial stocks. The course was organized in two parts. The first part was a general introduction to data collection and analysis for stock assessment. The second course (this course) was for the fisheries officers to analyse their own data that was collected during the period between the courses.
