GRÓ LRT welcomes the fellows of 2023

A new group of fellows has started their six-month training with GRÓ LRT at Keldnaholt Campus, which is running from 3 March to 29 August this year. It is the largest cohort of fellows to participate in the GRÓ LRT training, 23 working professionals from eight countries in Africa and Asia, 12 women and 11 men. This year’s fellows come from GRÓ LRT’s partner organisations in Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Uganda, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. They are all experts in their respective countries working on issues related to ecosystem restoration and sustainable land management. Like last year, two of the fellows are experts from UNESCO’s Man and Biosphere (MAB) network: from the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria and Omo Biosphere Reserve in Nigeria.

The GRÓ LRT staff welcomes the fellows and is looking forward to working with them.
