GRÓ Director visits GRÓ LRT

Today we welcomed Mr Friðrik Jónsson, the Director of GRÓ International Centre for Capacity Development, to Keldnaholt campus. In his visit he met with the 2021 cohort of GRÓ LRT fellows and learned about the activities ahead in the six-month training programme. He also met with GRÓ LRT staff and Academic Committee, and the Rector of the Agricultural University of Iceland.

GRÓ International Centre for Capacity Development is a UNESCO Category 2 Centre based in Reykjavík. Its mission is to strengthen individual organisational and institutional capacities in developing and conflict/post-conflict countries to deliver development results in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). GRÓ LRT is one of four capacity development training programmes carrying out the work of GRÓ Centre in Iceland.
