On October 7th the first six fellows graduated since the Land Restoration Training programme became a part of the United Nations University.  The graduated fellows are from Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan, Namibia, Niger, and Mongolia.   At the graduation ceremony the fellow presented their individual project work which they worked on during the latter part of the programme.

This is the third group who has attended the six-month postgraduate training at the programme.  The training takes place at the Agricultural University of Iceland and the Soil Conservation of Iceland, under a fellowship funded by the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
