Visit from GRÓ International Centre

GRÓ LRT welcomed today Ms Nína Björk Jónsdóttir, the new Director General for GRÓ, and Mr Jón Karl Ólafsson, the chairman of the GRÓ Governing Board, to Keldnaholt campus. The purpose of the visit was for the new Director General to learn about GRÓ LRT programmes, activities and cooperation partners. Meeting with staff, lecturers and GRÓ LRT fellows, the guests were introduced to the approach and key elements of the GRÓ LRT six-month training programme.

GRÓ International Centre for Capacity Development is a UNESCO Category 2 Centre based in Reykjavík. GRÓ LRT is one of four capacity development training programmes carrying out the work of GRÓ Centre in Iceland.
