Short Bio
Anna Mariager Behrend obtained her PhD degree in Restoration Ecology from the Agricultural University of Iceland in 2025 and now works as a postdoctoral researcher at the ECONOVO Center of Excellence at Aarhus University. Her research focuses on several themes in ecosystem ecology, including landscape ecology, plant ecology, conservation ecology, and restoration ecology. Through her PhD, she obtained strong skills in field monitoring and ecological experimental setups. She has experience in applying a wide variety of analytical methodologies, including remote sensing, individual-based methods, Bayesian statistics, species distribution models, and process-based vegetation models.
