Atli is a GIS Team Manager with extensive experience leading a team of specialists in delivering geospatial solutions that support large-scale operational management, data design and analysis, and national policy and planning. His work includes national-scale spatial analysis, advanced data management, web-based solutions, and the implementation of innovative technologies that enhance data collection and decision-making.
Alongside his management role, he is involved in projects related to academic research and GIS project development, including lecturing and supervising professionals through the UNU-Land Restoration Training Programme (UNU-LRT). He is passionate about knowledge-sharing and bridging the gap between research and practice.
Beyond his professional and academic roles, he contributes to several non-profit organizations as a board member, supporting diverse missions through strategic planning and governance.
