Berglind is the Deputy Director of GRÓ LRT and Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Environmental and Forest Sciences at the Agricultural University of Iceland (AUI). Her professional background includes research and education in ecology and agriculture. Her research focus has been on the influence of land condition on abiotic ecosystem processes, and on restoration of ecosystem processes on severely degraded land. As the GRÓ LRT Deputy Director, Berglind’s responsibilities include overseeing curriculum development, implementation, and assessment of all GRÓ-LRT training activities.
