Ambassador of Zambia Visits

On 18 June 2019, Ms Rose Mulemba Salukatula Ambassador of Zambia, along with her first secretary Ms Amina Randeree, paid a visit to UNU-FTP.
After a brief introduction to the fisheries training programme in Iceland by UNU-FTP staff the ambassador outlined the state of fisheries in Zambia.
It is clear the country has lots of potential for the sustainable development of its inland fisheries and aquaculture.
The meeting will be followed up by further communications between UNU-FTP and Zambian fisheries experts.
