GRÓ-FTP´s 24th fellowship year is about to start. In late October the 2022-2023 Fisheries Training Programme will be welcoming 23 fellows from 15 countries who will spend the next six months participating in intensive training and research in different locations around Iceland. But first, the first five weeks of FTP´s introductory module will be taught at the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute (MFRI) conveniently located for the scientific research vessels in the harbour town of Hafnarfjörður. Preparations are in full swing for the arrival of our new group, and the FTP team, pictured here outside MFRI, are looking forward to welcoming the fellows to Iceland.
