The guest lecturer in 2007 was professor James L. Anderson from the University of Rhode Island, USA. Professor Anderson is an economist who has specialized in the economics and marketing in fisheries and aquaculture. He has several publications to his name, including a book on the International Seafood Trade, published in 2003. The general theme of his lectures will be "fisheries and aquaculture: Managing for the market"
