A Seminar, for the presentations of the UNU-GTP MSc candidates who will defend their thesis at the University of Iceland this spring, will be held in Vidgelmir, Orkugarður, Grensásvegi 9 on Thursday, 30 March, 13:30-15:00.

New group of UNU-LRT fellows

UNU-LRT has received a new cohort of fellows for the 2017 six-month training programme. This year the fellows come from eight different countries: Mongolia (3 fellows) and Uzbekistan (1) in Central Asia and Ethiopia (1), Ghana (3), Lesotho (2), Malawi (1), Niger (1) and Uganda (2) in Africa, 10 men and four women. The UNU-LRT team looks forward to working with this vibrant group of fellows!

Congratulations UNU-FTP fellows, 2016/17

On March 13, 2017, the nineteenth cohort of fellows of the United Nations University Fisheries Training Programme graduated in a ceremony held at the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute of Iceland. This year's dynamic group included 22 fellows from sixteen countries.
