Short Bio

Heida Palmadottir has a MSc in chemical engineering from Trondheim University in Norway and a Bachelors degree in education from the University of Iceland.

Heida has extensive experience working with various chemical investigations such as, fatty acid composition, GC-analysis, nutrient composition of feed, fish and other foodstuffs. At Matis, she has been a Research Group Leader in Analysis and Consulting since 2007. In this work, she leads work on proximate analysis, quality factors in fish, fatty acids and histamine in fish and fishproducts.
