Short Bio

Prof. Dr. Eva Schill from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany has a PhD in geophysics and has been extensively involved in geothermal exploration and development in recent decades, including studies of deep geothermal resources, EGS-development, underground heat storage and more.

In addition, she has been heavily involved in geothermal education through her work at five universities in Germany and Switzerland. She currently leads the Geoenergy group at KIT as well as being professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific papers involving geothermal research as well as leading large research projects and facilities on subsurface heat-storage and deep reservoirs.
